Frequently Asked Questions - Holman Collision

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What is the difference between a collision center and a body shop?
Answer: While a body shop may only focus on the cosmetics, our collision centers are all encompassing and can handle total automotive repairs. When it comes to Holman Collision, we can do it all.

Question: What is a collision center?
Answer: A collision center is an automotive facility specifically designed to repair your vehicle after experiencing any level of damage. Only using manufacturer certified parts and technicians, Holman Collision will get you to back on the road safely.

Question: Why choose a certified collision center?
Answer: When your vehicle requires significant repairs, a collision center is absolutely essential. From leveraging the latest machinery to curating an experience that exceeds every mark, our facility is ready to handle it all – to put it simply, the work that we do cannot be done at the typical service center. Certified collision centers are qualified by our partner manufacturers and auto-makers to meet or exceed the established requirements by the manufactures, passing an annual onsite inspection. Our factory trained technicians only use original manufacture parts to repair your vehicle.

Question: When to report vehicle damage to a collision center?
Answer:  After experiencing an instance of severe vehicle damage, it is recommended that you visit a collision center as soon as possible. Upon your arrival, Holman Collision will be able to quickly diagnose your automotive, identifying any necessary repairs and providing a detailed timeline of when to expect the work to be completed. Additionally, we will work with your insurance company to make sure all costs are covered at our locations. Even if your insurance company directs you elsewhere, you can still visit a Holman Collision center location where we will work with your insurance agent to get your vehicle repaired.

Question: Who is a collision repair technician?
Answer: Authorized directly by the manufacturer, and only using original parts supplied directly from the manufacturers, our ASE-certified technicians have the proper tools and expertise to repair your vehicle. In order to become and remain certified by our partner manufacturers and auto-makers, our locations must meet or exceed the established requirements, passing an annual onsite inspection.

Question: How long does collision repair take?
Answer: The length of repair times may vary, but rest assured that our locations will provide the most accurate timeline possible at the very beginning of your appointment. Additionally, our certified team members will consistently communicate any updates and progress made, maintaining a completely transparent automotive repair experience.

Question: How much does collision repair cost?
Answer: Pricing may vary depending on the parts needed and amount of time it takes to complete a repair. Please contact one of our Holman Collision locations to discuss the details of your needed repair for the most accurate quote possible.
